Winning for Women PAC Endorses Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom for Congress

Dahlstrom highlighted as one of the top conservative challengers, top House target flip

Anchorage, AK – This week, Winning for Women PAC announced their endorsement of Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom in her race for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat. Winning for Women PAC supports conservative women “who share core values of economic freedom and strong national security” and elected to endorse Dahlstrom as one of their first challengers of the cycle.

“These women are rising stars who will add to the record number of Republican women in the House of Representatives. With a razor-thin majority in the House, flipping these seats is critical to holding and expanding our majority,” said Danielle Barrow, Executive Director of WFW PAC. “We are excited to help ensure they have the resources they need as they work to secure their primary and general election victories.”

“Throughout my career, I have always made the choice to step up, rather than back down, when there was a tough fight. Now, I’m running to represent Alaska in Congress and push back against Biden’s agenda that has crushed our state,” stated Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom, candidate for Alaska’s At-Large Congressional District. “I am proud and honored to have the support of Winning For Women PAC. Their commitment to electing strong, conservative women across the country is critical and I look forward to working with them to win Alaska and keep the House majority in 2024.”

This key endorsement comes after Dahlstrom has earned the backing of Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and after her entrance sparked Inside Elections to move the race towards Republicans.

Nancy Dahlstrom currently serves as the Lt. Governor for the state of Alaska. The Dunleavy-Dahlstrom ticket was reelected in 2022 on the first ballot with over 50% of the vote. Nancy was first appointed to serve as a State Representative in 2003 and then served as a Senior Advisor for Military Affairs. In 2018, Nancy took on the role to serve as the Commissioner of Corrections and was a leader in cracking down on crime and ensuring criminals serve their time. As Lieutenant Governor, Nancy has prioritized public safety, energy security, and emergency preparedness.
