Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom released the following statement after the verdict in President Trump’s trial:
“Today is an embarrassment to our judicial system and will have ripples in our legal system for years to come.
The Democrats have weaponized our justice system and think they can use it to target their political opponents. Americans have watched this scam trial for weeks and saw it for exactly what it is: a joke.
One person completely silent? Mary Peltola. Alaska deserves a representative who calls it like it is and speaks out against blatant attacks on justice.
Alaskans stand with President Trump and we will show our support at the ballot box this November.”
