Anchorage, AK – Today, the Biden Administration announced a pause on Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) exports throughout the country. Republican candidate for U.S. Congress and current Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom released the following statement:
“Time and time, Biden has worked against Alaska, passing over 50 executive actions that directly harm our state and our people. Now, he has decided to pause LNG projects which is disastrous for our great state. Pausing LNG projects threatens our national security and stifles economic opportunities and future potential. I am calling on President Biden to reverse this decision.”
Dahlstrom is running against Mary Peltola who has endorsed Joe Biden and works hand-in-hand with his administration. Republican Nancy Dahlstrom currently serves as the Lt. Governor for the state of Alaska. As Lieutenant Governor, Nancy has prioritized public safety, energy security, and emergency preparedness.
