ANCHORAGE, AK – In a new video, President Donald J. Trump highlighted why he endorsed Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom, the true conservative candidate in the race for Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, for Congress.
President Trump reiterated that Dahlstrom has his “complete and total endorsement to be the next congresswoman from Alaska.” President Trump said that he is “supporting Nancy because she is tough, smart, experienced, and a proven fighter” as well as that “she’s also a very good person.”
President Trump said:
“Your current congresswoman, radical left Democrat Mary Peltola, supported Biden’s disastrous energy policies, open border disaster, and government overreach that has really badly hurt the great state of Alaska. . Peltola puts Alaska last, and you will find we put Alaska first, and I always will put Alaska first.”
“Nancy Dahlstrom, on the other hand, will work with us to secure the border, create great jobs, lower taxes, stop inflation, support our always-under-siege Second Amendment, and promote American energy dominance. We’ll start with ANWR – we’ll get it done again.”
Additionally, President Trump said that Dahlstrom “is great” and that he will “work for Alaska” with Dahlstrom “to make Alaska great again.”
“Nancy has my complete and total endorsement, so Tuesday, August 20, she will not let you down,” President Trump said. “Go out and vote!”
In response to the video, Lt. Governor Dahlstrom said, “I’m proud to have President Trump’s endorsement as we work to unseat Mary Peltola and get a real, conservative leader in the U.S. House of Representatives who will be a strong voice for Alaska. More importantly, I look forward to working with President Trump in Washington, DC to secure our border, strengthen our economy, and protect our resources.”
