ANCHORAGE, AK – Today, Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom officially filed her paperwork with the Alaska Division of Elections to unseat Mary Peltola and bring real Alaskan leadership back to Congress.
Crime, inflation, and illegal immigration are all on the rise in Alaska and across America. The negative impact of these and more under Joe Biden and Mary Peltola are compounded as we lose energy independence, watch our national security crumble, and struggle as our dollar doesn’t go as far.
Lt. Governor Dahlstrom released the following statement after filing to run for Congress, noting that it’s time for a real leader in Washington, one who will fight for our priorities as Alaskans, not political agendas.
“Today, I officially filed to run for Congress because it’s time we return tough, proven, conservative leadership to Alaska. Mary Peltola has proven she does not have our great state’s interests at heart – whether it is her reckless energy agenda that is crushing our economy, her anti-military votes, or her open border record,” Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom said in a statement. “Alaskans are tired of Peltola’s failed leadership, and I am the best candidate to ensure we have a real conservative leader representing us in Congress.”
Dahlstrom’s filing comes after a busy week where she toured the Southern border and then spent time in Fairbanks meeting with voters.
