ANCHORAGE, AK – In case you missed it, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman (R-Wyo.) endorsed Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom in her run for Congress late last week. Rep. Hageman’s endorsement comes on the heels of other prominent GOP female leaders’ support, including House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik and her Elevate PAC. Dahlstrom also has the backing of Governor Mike Dunleavy as well as Republican leaders at the highest echelons of government, including House Speaker Mike Johnson, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer.
In her endorsement, Rep. Hageman said:
“Of all places, Alaska must be represented by solid conservatives and so I strongly support Nancy Dahlstrom for Congress,” Rep. Hageman said on X. “As Lt. Gov., she has fought to protect Alaska from Washington, DC, and in Congress she will fight to unleash Alaska’s limitless energy potential.”
In response, Lt. Gov. Dahlstrom stated, “I am honored to receive Rep. Hageman’s endorsement in my run for Congress. Now more than ever, we need real conservative, tough leadership in Congress, especially for states like ours with only one representative. Rep. Hageman is a bonafide conservative leader who is blazing the trail for women across Wyoming and America. I look forward to serving with her in Washington.”You can read Rep.
