Dahlstrom named “standout candidate” by top Republican campaign arm
Anchorage, AK – Today, Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom earned the endorsement of Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), a top Republican campaign apparatus that will invest heavily to advance the conservative agenda and expand the House majority this cycle.
Dahlstrom was one of twenty congressional challengers included in the “Trailblazers” program who will receive financial support from the group as a high-priority congressional target. In 2022, CLF spent $250 million to secure the House majority in target congressional seats.
Dan Conston, CLF’s President, stated, “These candidates have proven they have what it takes to connect with voters and win in battleground districts” and noted that the carefully picked endorsements are led by “standout candidates with proven track records of tangible achievement and impressive character.”
CLF joins a growing list of high-level Republicans backing Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom including Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy, Speaker Mike Johnson, Leader Steve Scalise, Whip Tom Emmer, and Chairwoman Elise Stefanik. The key endorsements signal that Dahlstrom will be a formidable force as the only candidate that can beat incumbent Mary Peltola.
“I am thrilled to have the backing of Congressional Leadership Fund and to be included in their Trailblazers program,” stated Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom. “Alaska needs new leadership in Washington to actually fight for our priorities and I’m proud to be trusted by top officials to be that person to fight for our state and lead us into the future.”
